THRACE, Perinthus. Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. Æ (35mm, 23.22 g, 2h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Nike, holding palm frond, standing left, crowning with wreath Severus Alexander, standing left, holding scepter and parazonium. Cf. Schönert, Perinthos 740; cf. Varbanov 462 (both refs for type); Gorny & Mosch 195, lot 322 (same rev.die) . Stripped brown surfaces, small flan crack. Near VF.
